The Formula 4X4 Big Bore shock absorber range has been designed for heavy-duty off-road applications, providing you with ideal off-road performance, reliability and comfort. Designed and built to handle extreme heats, and front and rear loads, the Formula 4x4 Big Bore shock range is best suited for heavier 4WDs, such as the Nissan Patrol and the Toyota Landcruiser.
Shaun Wale, presenter of 4WD Action, reached out to us after seeing how well the Formula 4X4 Lift Kit performed in Graham Cahill's D-Max during their off-road adventures. Shaun was after a set of heavy-duty shock absorbers for his new awesome Landcruiser build, looking to make it one of the most unique builds in the world. Luckily, we had the perfect suspension solution in the form of our Formula 4x4 Big Bore shocks. These shock absorbers with the increased strut size, oil capacity, piston size and many other unique engineering specifications (proprietary to Fulcrum Suspensions), allowed us to give him the best suspension solution to match his vehicles application.
Formula 4x4 Big bore has been engineered by a team of suspension experts. With both on and off-road testing rigorously performed, the engineering team have tirelessly worked to bring to the market another great Formula product. Filling the large gap in the range we previously had for Nissan Patrol’s GQ and GU models and Toyota Landcruiser’s 76, 78, 79, 80, 100, 105 and 200 series models.
The continuing success of the Formula 4X4 range has been enhanced by our new Big Bore release, expanding the current range of vehicles Formula 4X4 can be fitted to. It has also been enhanced by providing a reliable and affordable aftermarket option for two of the most popular 4x4’s on the market, the Nissan Patrol and the Toyota Landcruiser.
By partnering with SuperPro Suspension, we were able to combine their aftermarket bushes with our shocks to further increase the performance, durability and comfort of your driving experience. All Formula 4x4 Suspension products are covered by a 12 month / 20,000km standard warranty and can be upgraded to a 5 year / unlimited kilometre warranty here.
This means that if a Formula Product fails, it will be replaced free of charge.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits given by the warranties set out below are in addition to other rights and remedies under Australian law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranties relate.
This warranty is limited to the replacement of the originally supplied Formula component. This warranty does not include off-road and motorsport applications. This Warranty does not cover the labour costs of removal/replacement nor any consequential damage, where this limitation is permitted by local law.
