Designed for Isuzu MU-X RJ 4WD models fitted with the 3.0-litre diesel engine from July 2021 onwards, this engineered suspension upgrade increases the vehicle’s GVM from 2800kg to 3325kg. It also revises the approved GCM from 5900kg to 6200kg (only for NSW & VIC), providing greater flexibility when carrying passengers, permanent accessories, touring equipment and other essential loads.

The upgrade combines Lovells heavy-duty coil springs with Gas Legend twin-tube shock absorbers to improve stability, body control and ride quality under load. It is ideal for touring, towing, commercial use and recreational off-road driving without compromising everyday usability.

The revised GCM does not increase the vehicle’s maximum towing capacity above 3500kg. All GVM, GCM, axle, towing and tow-ball limits must be observed at the same time.

Important Fitment Information

This kit suits Isuzu MU-X RJ 4WD 3.0-litre diesel models manufactured from July 2021 onwards.

Correct spring selection depends on the vehicle’s permanent accessories, regular load and intended use. Constant loads may include bull bars, winches, batteries, underbody protection, drawers, roof racks, recovery equipment and other items permanently fitted to or carried in the vehicle.

Installation and Certification

A GVM upgrade is only legally recognised when the approved kit is professionally installed, inspected and certified under the applicable federal or state approval process.

Pre-registration vehicles may be completed under the applicable federal approval pathway, including the revised Secure Vehicle Identification Placard and upload to the Register of Approved Vehicles.

Vehicles that are already registered require state-based engineering approval and a modification plate. Additional engineering and certification costs may apply depending on the vehicle’s registration status and state or territory requirements.

This kit must be delivered to and installed by an authorised GVM upgrade workshop. The displayed price includes installation by an authorised Fulcrum Suspensions workshop unless otherwise stated.

Shipping

We offer FREE shipping to all metro areas (excluding WA, TAS and NT).

If you live on the Australian coast, that does not mean you are subject to free shipping.

Express shipping times and free shipping times are only to be counted once the order has been shipped from our warehouses. Our free shipping and express shipping services both have the same order processing times. We first have to raise the order, then we send it to one of our warehouses for processing and once ready it will be shipped from the warehouse. The difference between express and free shipping services, is the time it takes for the item to be transported from our warehouse to your address.
