2 Inch 50mm FOX Performance Elite Series 2.5 Lift Kit to suit Nissan Patrol GU Y61 Coil-Sprung Cab Chassis
Upgrade your Nissan Patrol GU Y61 coil-sprung cab chassis with premium FOX Performance Elite Series suspension performance. The PAT-028F combines FOX 2.5 external-reservoir front and rear shock absorbers with King Springs front and rear coils and a SuperPro caster correction bush kit.
Developed for touring, towing and demanding off-road use, this package delivers improved damping control, steering stability and suspension performance across sealed roads, corrugations and rough terrain.
The FOX 883-26-068 front shocks are Performance Elite Series 2.5 external-reservoir dampers designed for approximately 0–38mm of front lift. At the rear, the FOX 883-26-070 Performance Elite Series shocks accommodate approximately 0–64mm of rear lift.
The external reservoirs increase the available oil and nitrogen capacity, supporting improved heat management and more consistent damping performance during sustained use. Application-specific valving, race-developed high-flow pistons and heavy-duty internal components provide controlled suspension response both on and off the road.
King Springs KDFR-42 raised front coils provide the front suspension lift, while the KDPR-58 progressive-rate rear coils are matched to the coil-sprung cab chassis application. The included SuperPro SPF1721K bush kit provides approximately two degrees of caster correction to help restore steering geometry and straight-line stability after lifting the vehicle.

Important fitment note
PAT-028F is designed for Nissan Patrol GU Y61 cab chassis models fitted with coil springs at both the front and rear.
It does not suit:
- Coil-front, leaf-rear cab chassis models
- Other Patrol applications with a leaf-spring rear suspension
FOX specifically excludes the 883-26-070 rear shocks from leaf-spring models. The vehicle’s rear suspension configuration must therefore be confirmed before quoting, ordering or installation.
After you have purchased this lift kit, one of our suspension experts will contact you to confirm your order details, intended vehicle use, permanent accessory load and vehicle specifications. This helps ensure that the supplied suspension package is appropriate for your vehicle.
When purchasing through our click & fit service, we will also confirm your installation date.
Where applicable, the rear spring rate can be changed to accommodate different permanent loads. To discuss alternative leaf spring options, please call us, send us a message or leave a comment when purchasing the lift kit.

Lift Kit Fitting Instructions
All lift kits are supplied with general fitting instructions and applicable warranty information. Professional installation by a qualified mechanic or suspension technician is strongly recommended. Installation should preferably be completed by a workshop with wheel-alignment facilities.
Springs & Lift Heights
The springs create the lift, so selecting the correct front and rear spring rates is essential for achieving a level stance, comfortable ride and reliable suspension performance. While the kit title specifies a lift height, the final front and rear height increase will depend on your vehicle’s permanent accessories, constant load and intended use.
After you place your order, a Fulcrum Suspensions specialist will contact you before processing it. We will confirm your vehicle details, accessories, regular load, towing requirements and driving conditions to ensure the correct springs are supplied.
A constant load is any weight permanently fitted to or carried in the vehicle, such as bull bars, winches, bash plates, batteries, drawers, canopies, tools and recovery equipment. Engine type and other vehicle specifications can also affect spring selection. Where possible, install all permanent accessories before fitting your lift kit so the suspension can be matched correctly from the outset.
The spring rating should closely match the vehicle’s actual constant load. For example, a vehicle carrying approximately 250kg permanently should use a spring designed for that load range.
Springs rated below the vehicle’s constant load may become overloaded, causing sagging or premature failure. This can also occur when towing, as caravan, boat or trailer ball weight adds load to the rear suspension.
Springs rated substantially above the actual load can produce an excessively firm ride and may contribute to issues such as shock absorber top-out or coil spring trapping. The front and rear springs must also be correctly matched, as an unsuitable spring rate at either end can leave the vehicle sitting nose-high or nose-low.
For occasional additional loads or towing, an airbag helper kit may be recommended. Airbags support the springs when carrying temporary loads but do not replace correctly rated springs and are not designed to carry the vehicle’s load on their own.
There is no need to determine every specification yourself. Our suspension specialists will review your requirements after purchase and confirm the most suitable configuration for your vehicle.
